The protection of personal data is a particular concern to us. For this reason, this website processes and stores personal data exclusively based on the applicable data protection regulations. In this privacy policy, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing when using the website. As a user, by using this website, you agree to data processing within the meaning of this privacy policy.
Server Logs
Every time you visit our website, your IP address along with other data is transmitted to the web server. This is technically necessary to be able to deliver the server's response to you. You receive this IP address from your Internet Service Provider once you connect to the internet. Your provider can then keep track for a certain period of time which IP address you used at any given time. Through a request to the provider, your identity can in theory be determined.
To check system security, repel and trace hacking attacks, for technical system administration, as well as for optimizing the usability of the website, the server logs (IP address and other data such as date, time of the request, name and URL of the requested file, amount of data transferred, message on whether the request was successful, identification data of the browser used and the operating system, and in the case of access via a link, the website from which access was made) are logged. Access to the server logs is only made in case of need or suspicion. Data is only forwarded in the event of a hacking attack to the law enforcement authorities. There is no further transmission to third parties. The data is not stored permanently but deleted after a period of 6 months.
Cookies
We use cookies to optimize user-friendliness and to understand how our website is used. Cookies are small text files sent to your web browser and stored locally on your PC. On the one hand, these files control the display and operation of the page. On the other hand, they are used to gain useful information about the use of our pages. Some cookies are only stored temporarily and deleted when the browser is closed. Other cookies (so-called "persistent cookies") are stored for a longer period or permanently until they reach an expiration date or until they are manually deleted from your browser cache.
The cookies used have a validity period of up to two years, unless otherwise specified in the specific cookie descriptions. After this period, the cookies are automatically deleted. Regardless, you can manually delete cookies at any time.
In modern internet browsers, it is possible, for example in the "Security/Privacy Statement" menu item (depending on the manufacturer), to regulate the use of cookies for your browser. You can set whether you want to receive a warning when a cookie is offered for storage on your browser. It is also possible to restrict or completely prevent the acceptance and storage of cookies. Many browsers also offer extensions (add-ons) that allow you to selectively reject individual cookies. However, this may result in error messages when accessing certain web pages.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software accordingly. However, we must point out that in this case, you may not be able to fully use all the functions of this website.
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity for website operators, and provide other services related to website and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if required by law or if third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will in no case associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You can prevent the installation of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser software; however, we must inform you that in this case, you may not be able to use all the functions of this website fully. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above. Terms of use of Google Analytics
Google Maps
This website also uses an online map service from the following provider: Google Maps (API) of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland.
Google Maps is a web service for displaying interactive (land) maps to visually display geographical information. By using this service, you can have our location displayed and facilitate your journey. As soon as you access the subpage that contains the map from Google Maps, information about your use of our website (such as your IP address) is transmitted to and stored on Google's servers. This may also involve transmission to Google's servers in the USA. This happens regardless of whether you are logged into a Google account or not. If you are logged in with Google, your data will be directly assigned to your account. If you do not wish the allocation to your Google profile, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates them. This data storage and processing is done solely by Google and is beyond our control. We point out that the execution of this service by Google sets a cookie called "NID". Google Maps currently does not offer us a way to operate this service without this cookie. The NID cookie contains information about your user behavior that Google uses to optimize its services and provide you with individual, personalized advertising. The collection, storage, and evaluation take place in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR based on Google's legitimate interest in displaying personalized advertising, market research, and/or designing the Google website to meet users' needs. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, but you must contact Google to exercise this right. Should you object to the future transmission of your data to Google within the framework of using Google Maps, there is also the option to completely deactivate the Google Maps web service by switching off the application of JavaScript in your browser. Google Maps and thus the display of maps on this website cannot then be used. If legally required, we have obtained your consent for the processing of your data as described above in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You may revoke any consent granted at any time with future effect. To exercise your revocation, please follow the possibility to make an objection described below. Google anonymizes data in server logs by deleting part of the IP address and cookie information after 9 and 18 months, respectively. Location and activity data are stored either for 3 or 18 months and then deleted. Through a Google account, users can also manually delete the history. To completely prevent location recording, a user must disable the "Web and App Activity" section in their Google account. Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection can be found in Google's privacy policy, which you can find at http://www.google.de/intl/en/policies/privacy.
